Mars was Earth-like billions of years ago

The science now shows that Mars was Earthlike maybe even a billion years before Earth. That's a long time to life, even intelligent life who built these structures and then the atmosphere vanished. These things have been just sitting there for not just thousands, at least millions, even billions of years. So when you see these structures that aren't pristine, what do you expect? Our pyramids here don't look pristine.
