About This Episode
He explains a conversation he recently had with a physicist who agrees with most interpretations of the Carolina Bays — except for how their elliptical shapes formed. According to this physicist, the incoming objects wouldn’t have stayed solid during atmospheric reentry. Instead, he believes the ellipses were shaped by the shockwave of an airburst rather than a direct impact. The discussion highlights how scientific theories evolve as new models and interpretations arise. actually actually recently was talking with a guy who has a PhD in physics and he is adamant he he has actually on board with everything we've said about Carolina bays with the exception of how they form perfect ellipses and he thinks that as they came back into the atmosphere that there's no the physics doesn't support them being solid when they hit the ground that they would have burst before they hit the ground and it's actually the shock wave of the air burst that created the elliptical shapes
