Well, if that is guided by a free will decision of the electron and there's consciousness inherent in the quantum field, which seems to be the case, that's what deeply resonates with me and I could build out a convincing argument for that. But if consciousness is inherent at that quantum field of the smallest observable thing, then everything else built on top of that has to have consciousness. So therefore everything has consciousness. The question is what's the degree of consciousness?
