Looking for a podcast editor/producer

We have a job opening at the Austin and Matt podcast. We are growing pretty quickly and uh we were one of the top 2% breakout shows on Spotify this last year in our first year and we just crossed 15,000 subs. So we are looking for an editor, a hungry editor who would like to cut their teeth on a long form podcast um and also doing our short form stuff like clips and shorts. Uh we need somebody who uh is interested in our subject matter. So, we've covered topics from aliens to the military-industrial complex to consciousness and psychedelics to the UFC. So, if you enjoy those topics, we would love to hear from you. Uh, we've interviewed guys like Randall Carlson, John Kuryaku, Billy Carson, Jay Anderson, and we have a lot more like that coming up in 2026. There will be an opportunity to travel. It's not required, but it would be nice if someone came along with us and helped make sure that we had sound and mics all set up properly and was playing producer in the middle of shooting because right now we're doing that by ourselves. Um, so if that's you, we want to hear from you. And the last thing I want to say is we need someone who's very independent, who's a hard worker, a self-starter. We do not like managing people. We do not want to make sure that you're doing your job. So we want the people who know how to get their job done and don't need to be told to get their job done. That's how we have the most fun is we all understand what we're all doing and we just go do it. And if you need help, we reach out. But we will not be playing micromanager here. So, a self-starter who's hungry and wants to get into the content creation space with editing.
