They didn't want us thinking like they did and so they gave us all language which diminished all the telepathy developments in our brains. In the Tower of Babel, the gods were nervous, right? Because somehow man was becoming like the gods. And it definitely couldn't have been bricks piling up one on top of each other. Any true god or gods or elohim would would never be intimidated by a bunch of bricks being piled on top of each other. So what did they mean and why did they scatter their language? Well, it seems to me that the Tower of Babel was all about telepathy, and I think all of humans were like a hive mind. And that is dangerous. If we're all conscious and we're all telepathic, I think that does start to make us like gods. So, they kind of grew scared of that and they introduced spoken language to everybody.
